A graduate of The Juilliard School (Drama Division), Laura Fay has a strong background in the New York Off-Broadway Theatre scene from Shakespeare to Fassbinder. Her 1st contract role was as the lead in Bunnybear, an Off-Broadway play where she originated and created the role of Sandy, never missing any of the 250 performances. She also had the opportunity to originate the female lead role in Mark Borkowski's Don't Listen to What it Sounds Like The Bear (Best Plays of 2006 / Published by Smith/Krauss). Some of her more memorable roles and plays she's acted in include Yelena Popova in Chekov's The Bear, Dolores (title role) Edward Allan Baker, Those Summer Nights When The Dark Comes Late by John Ford Noonan, Foreman in Parkersburg, Madeleine in Richard Curtis' Godhead, and Peggy Lee in Laura Fay's Soiree.

She is a founding member of Tribeca Lab, and Brazen Giant Ensemble. Also the Creator/Director and Executive Producer of Laura Fay's Soiree which is a theatrical musical revue show featuring actress/singers Peggy Lee, Marilyn Monroe, Ann Margret, Patsy Cline, Doris Day and Josephine Baker. Laura Fay's Soiree has performed at The Triad and Episcopal Actors Guild in NYC to enthusiastic and well received audiences.

Laura Fay is relishing her time as a mid-career artist, focusing on film and tv projects and firmly believes it is never too late to shift gears and manifest new destinies and changes, in the lives of oneself and others.
