Laura Fay Lewis is a multi-media artist living and working in NYC.
She is a contemporary artist, an award winning filmmaker, actress, singer, musician, songwriter, and published poet. Her work is very lyrical, and she approaches each work of art as a musical interlude or musical dance of color, lines and shapes. Her art work has appeared in solo as well as group shows including Tribeca Lab, “The History of Conspiracy” at 207 Gallery, “Taking it Higher” at Jungles Studios, and “Corpus Xeroxysm” at Tompkins Square Art Library.
Her 1st solo show “Muse” was at The Berkeley Gallery. She had a month long residency on Governor’s Island with Juan Carlos Pinto. In 2016, she had a studio residency at Con Artist Collective, as well as a month long residency in 2017 at The Vivacity Building in Williamsburg, Bklyn. The Blue Goat Gallery in Berlin, Germany featured her art in 2017. Recently her work was in Decemberfest 2018, at One Artspace in Tribeca, where approximately 1000 people attended.
Some of her work is in private collections domestically, as well as internationally. She continues to create new work at a prolific pace. She is represented by Ladanorama Gallery in Murray Hill, NYC.
